Job Description
Howard Hanna is looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Specialist to manage and expand our social media channels. Working as a Social Media Specialist at Howard Hanna, your job will be to manage various social media platforms and create top-notch content for boosting awareness and engagement. You need to have excellent communication skills and a talent for creating content that generates optimal results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong knowledge of social media platforms, including at minimum: Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Create engaging video content. Must have a basic understanding of video production, editing, and storytelling for social platforms.
- Content management strategy including creating a content calendar and content development; in conjunction with corporate strategies and campaigns.
- Sole publisher of relevant, original, high-quality content.
- Work with partner brands to improve organizational development aspects, including content development and publishing.
- Excellent collaboration, multitasking, organizational, writing, grammar, and interpersonal skills.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing technology, communications or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently with direction and as part of a larger team.
