We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various bookkeeping tasks. Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger service of several business clients.
- Perform payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Execute bank reconciliation to ensure that records match bank statements.
- Maintain accurate records using accounting software, including Quick Books, for efficient tracking of financial transactions.
- Prepare tax documents and assist with tax filings as required.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks efficiently.
Skills
- Experience in working for an accounting office.
- Experience in payroll processing and compliance.
- Excellent account reconciliation abilities to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with tax preparation processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using accounting software, particularly Quick Books, for bookkeeping tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently on business clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
