Pay rate adjustable based on level of experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is required.
Howard Miller, a manufacturer and distributor of clocks and fine furniture, has an opening for an experienced Shipping Warehouse Associate.
The candidate is expected to have a strong safety record, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Prior hi-lo experience a plus. Must currently have or ability to immediately earn a hi-lo / forklift license / certificate.
Must have ability to safely climb a ladder to pick product from racks while carrying up to 25#
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50# and occasionally up to 75#
Must be able to regularly move product in excess of 75# using a hand cart.
Solid computer and iPad skills a plus
Record of dependability and great attendance is critical
Key duties include:
Picking orders for shipment. Can include small products picked by hand as well as large furniture that would require driving a hi-lo.
Packing orders of small product and preparing for shipment
Processing orders through scanning system
As necessary, safely operating hi-lo to load and unload trucks, and pick up and store finished goods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
