Payroll Administrator
Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. is in need of a payroll administrator. The administrator is responsible for maintaining employee payroll files and processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 140 employees, and certified payroll when applicable. Other duties include processing garnishments, withholding orders, and tax liens. Process payroll taxes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Prepare W-2s and periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions. Assist with accounts payable duties on a weekly basis. Prior payroll and payroll tax preparation experience required. Howard Shockey & Sons is a regional general contractor based in Winchester. We have been serving the region for 128 years, and offer stability and a great benefit and compensation package.
