We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Class A Operator with a Class A Water Surface License to join our team at a state-of-the-art water treatment plant in Asheville, NC. Built to enhance the region's water infrastructure following the hurricanes that impacted North Carolina, this facility is vital to providing clean and reliable water to the community. Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain the water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor, analyze, and adjust plant processes to ensure optimal water quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and chemical systems.
- Collect and test water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document and maintain accurate records of plant operations, water quality data, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to operational emergencies, including equipment malfunctions and system interruptions, in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with the plant team to implement process improvements and maintain a safe working environment.
