About the Role

  • This locum position requires the physician to work primarily on call while our permanent OBGYN is away on maternity leave.
  • The physician will be responsible for rounding on inpatients daily, including weekends, with an average of 1-3 patients per day.
  • Average deliveries per day range from 1-3, with 2-4 NST/observations daily.
  • The physician must be comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, as well as ED consults for OBGYN patients as needed.
  • No inpatient midlevel support is available.
  • The patient population age range is 15-70, and the EMR system used is EPIC.
