Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to provide locum coverage for our hospital-based surgical team.
Key Details:
- Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as credentialed, with weekend coverage available.
- Reason for Coverage: We require additional support due to a reduction in the number of surgeons on staff.
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based, with rounds taking place on-site.
- Call Ratio: As needed, with an average ratio of 1:3.
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: Varies, with fewer cases on weekends.
- Trauma Level/Designation: II.
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC.
- Description of Ancillary Staff: Our team includes APPs and Surgical PAs who round with the surgeons.
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult and geriatric patients.
- Scope of Services Required: Adult cardiac surgery and general thoracic surgery.
- Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: A range of procedures involving the aorta.
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG.
- Procedures Required: Pericardial window, tube thoracostomy, and thoracic aortic aneurysm repair.
