About the Role :
A premier private equity consulting advisory firm is seeking a Professional Development Manager to oversee the growth and well-being of its consulting team. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this role is crucial in fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace culture, guiding career development, and enhancing employee experience from recruitment to alumni relations.
Key Responsibilities :
Professional Development & Training :
Build strong relationships with consultants through regular one-on-one conversations to understand career goals and concerns.
Align staffing decisions with consultants’ skills, career aspirations, and personal circumstances.
Design and implement training programs, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge-sharing systems.
Culture & Employee Engagement :
Advocate for employee well-being and engagement, ensuring a positive and high-performing work environment.
Collaborate with leadership to address feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Organize team-building activities and maintain a strong company culture.
Conduct exit interviews to enhance employee experience and manage alumni relations.
Performance Management :
Oversee the semiannual 360° review process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
Facilitate post-engagement reviews and track consultants’ professional growth.
Support the development and progress of individual career plans.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment :
Shape and execute the firm’s talent acquisition strategy, attracting top-tier consulting talent.
Manage the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5 years of experience in professional development or talent management within consulting or professional services.
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to build trust and resolve conflicts effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
Proficiency in digital tools and technology to support HR functions.
Compensation & Benefits :
Base salary : $80,000 - $150,000 performance-based bonus.
