Position Title: Sales Director - Southeast Region (Atlanta Preferred)
Location: Home Office
Reports to: SVP Sales
OVERVIEW
As the Sales Director for the South East region, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business sales activities and expanding the sales pipeline with existing clients in Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail establishments. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture professional, consultative relationships with clients, including 'C' level contacts, while ensuring alignment with our overall sales strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the SVP Sales, you will spearhead new business initiatives targeting Tier 1 & Tier 2 retailers for multi-million-dollar ESL solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving all facets of direct sales in the region, from lead generation to successful customer engagement.
- Cultivating enduring relationships with senior decision-makers in major retail chains to align our solutions with their business needs.
- Effectively articulating our value proposition and positioning our solutions as the preferred choice in the ESL market.
- Devising innovative strategies to expand ESL market share among existing clients.
- Collaborating with the financial team to develop pricing models for customer proposals.
- Generating accurate monthly revenue forecasts and collaborating with pre-sales and product marketing teams to manage the pipeline effectively.
- Delivering high-quality presentations and proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Gathering market insights and trends from clients to inform strategic decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Skills:
- Extensive retail experience, preferably within a Tier One retailer or selling into Tier One Retailers.
- Profound understanding of retail principles, especially in managing price changes, merchandising accuracy, promotions, and planogram compliance.
- Proven ability to present, negotiate, and close complex deals at the executive level.
- Track record of generating new business revenue and executing successful sales strategies, preferably with multi-million-dollar outcomes.
- Familiarity with international business practices and adeptness in navigating diverse business cultures.
- Strong grasp of technology, particularly Cloud/Enterprise software solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; fluency in other languages is advantageous.
