As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee on-site project activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands proactive leadership, strong communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset to deliver successful outcomes for the Owner, engineer, and our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop pre-construction work plans to meet contract, schedule, and quality standards, including safety action plans.
- Review contracts, project documentation, and plans to ensure fieldwork aligns with specifications.
- Document the job site through videos and photographs before and after construction.
- Team Management:
- Supervise on-site personnel, schedules, and construction operations.
- Coordinate and provide direction to field crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure field crews are trained
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
- Experience with water/wastewater projects preferred
- Proficiency in construction management software such as SAGE Paperless Construction Management (this in particular is preferred)
- Experience in project scheduling and budgeting
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills in construction environments
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively
- Familiarity with quality control processes and construction estimating techniques
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
