  • SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Join Howard Technology Solutions (HTS), a dynamic technology solutions provider for Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, Government, and Commercial markets. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Higher Education Sales Executive to promote and sell innovative technology solutions to Higher Education facilities in your designated area.

    This role is perfect for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships and is passionate about technology. You will work closely with customers to identify their needs and create tailored solutions, ensuring a seamless sales experience. If you're results-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, we want you on our team!

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish and nurture relationships with Technology Coordinators, CIOs, Network Administrators, and Audio Visual Directors.
    • Meet and exceed your territory sales quota.
    • Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Deliver impactful presentations and conduct in-service training sessions.
    • Forecast monthly sales and plan personal work schedules effectively.
    • Complete weekly Sales Productivity Reports and maintain daily updates in the CRM system.
    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Account Executive must reside within the specified territory.
    • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when necessary.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays as required.
    • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

    • Preferred four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
    • A proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • A strong desire to excel in the technology sales sector.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and professional email communication.
    • A personable, courteous, and professional demeanor.
    • An urgent approach to tasks and responsibilities.
    • A dedicated, hardworking, honest self-starter.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
