The Associate Vice President of Finance and Budget is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the College’s approved budget and financial reporting. This role oversees the maintenance of the budget database, provides training on system usage, and assists in the development and preparation of the College’s annual budget. Additionally, the AVP monitors budgeted position funds and manages the preparation of the budget book, along with all required county and state documentation related to the College’s operating budget. The position also leads the annual budget close-out process.The AVP will supervise and manage administrative and professional staff within financial management and general finance support functions. This role ensures compliance with all legal and institutional regulations relevant to assigned areas.Furthermore, the Associate Vice President is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting for both the College and the College’s Foundation. In the absence of the CFO, the employee will assume temporary role of duties in this position.
