What are the responsibilities and job description for the Philosophy Adjunct Faculty Pool position at howardcc?
This posting is a pool for those interested in teaching philosophy (PHIL) courses offered at HCC. Courses include Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Logic, Introduction to Ethics. The department chair and/or coordinator will review applications when staffing needs arise. The pool will be cleared annually in January, so please reapply if interested.Adjunct faculty may teach 1-3 courses each semester, depending upon enrollment needs, availability, and skill match. Teaching in any mode requires use of the learning management system Canvas as well as participation as needed in course assessments. Adjunct faculty are invited to participate in professional development.
