Material Handler and Utility Technician

The successful candidate for the Material Handler and Utility Technician position will be able to transport raw materials around the shop, perform various maintenance functions, and deburr, hydrostatic test, and assemble manufactured components.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Attentino to detail
- Basic Math to include addition and subtraction
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Basic hand skills ability to utilize hand tools.
- Transport raw material to staging areas assigned
- Deburr products that could not be deburred in the machine
- Assemble machined components to drawing specifications
- Maintaining safe and organized working areas
- Operating basic machinery under supervision
- Hydrostatic test all required components and fill out reports associated with the order.
- Perform coolant and chip maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Degree/certificate/diploma in manufacturing or related field preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills
- Light lifting up to 50lbs required.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to operate machines
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
