Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for all guests and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of the premises.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning as directed by management.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in hotels or similar environments is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
