As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting with various tasks to keep the bar running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service.
- Support bartenders during busy periods by helping to serve drinks and manage orders.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Buss tables in the bar area to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as it aids in efficient order processing.
- Experience in nightclubs or restaurants is advantageous for understanding fast-paced environments.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness and organization within the bar area.
