Job Title: Pet Groomer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming a variety of pets, including dogs and cats, and be able to provide excellent customer service to pet owners. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for bathing, trimming, and styling pets according to their owners' preferences, as well as maintaining a clean and safe grooming area.

Responsibilities:

Bathe, brush, and trim pets fur according to owners' preferences

Clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth

Identify and report any health issues or concerns to pet owners

Maintain a clean and safe grooming area

Provide excellent customer service to pet owners

Keep accurate records of services provided and payments received

Familiar with online booking platforms,

Able to budget their time so as to take phone calls from grooming customers and book

appointments.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience as a Pet Groomer

Knowledge of different breeds and their grooming requirements

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail

Physical ability to lift and restrain pets

Available to work weekends

Working Conditions: The Pet Groomer will work in a grooming area that may be noisy and have a strong odor. The position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy pets.

The Pet Groomer may also be required to work weekends and holidays.

Salary: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and is commission only: the hourly rate mentioned in listing is not accurate.
