Howling Rabbits Beerworks is a full-service Brew Pub that will feature house branded beers, a full bar, and a chef driven kitchen. We are open till 2am.

TABC certification or the ability to become TABC certified prior to beginning work is required.
Our Busser/Barbacks are the right hands to our servers and bartenders. They ensure our dining room, bar, lobby, and service areas are clean, sanitized, stocked and visually appealing. They assist our bartenders in clearing the bar top, cleaning/sanitizing the barware, and restocking glassware and plateware. In addition, they change out kegs as needed to keep our beers on tap fresh!
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock bar supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and other necessary items.
- Support with bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or plates from the bar area.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in setting up for events or catering services as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus; knowledge of drink recipes is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system (Aloha POS experience is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A valid food handling certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
