What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Manufacturing Quality Specialist position at Howmet Aerospace?
Ready for a new challenge? We're searching for enthusiastic Advanced Manufacturing Quality Specialists to join us in our mission to uphold top-tier standards. This journey begins with a comprehensive training program on the 1st Shift (6:30am - 3:00pm) for 2-4 months, preparing you to excel during the 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm).
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough inspections on multiple part types, ensuring the utmost quality in receiving, final, and in-process inspections.
- Engage in meticulous, high-concentration visual inspections, maintaining focus over 2-hour intervals.
- Oversee the complete processing of parts, from power washes to final pre-etch steps.
- Skillfully manage, inspect, and replace materials and liners as needed.
- Conduct essential daily and weekly calibration checks.
- Adhere to operational protocols and preserve detailed quality records.
What You Bring:
- A High School diploma or GED.
- 1 years of experience in manufacturing inspections, a must.
- Experience with FPI or NDT is a plus but not mandatory.
