This 1st shift DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN position will be located in our Research and Development Facility. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab, as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns
- Process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements
- Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, both subtractive (CNC) and additive (3D printing) in nature.
- Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures
- Work closely with engineering and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects.
- Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment.
- Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required.
- Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in manufacturing industrial or mechanical technology from an accredited institution plus 3 years of machining and fabrication of fixtures, tooling, and custom components; OR high school/GED with 10 years of experience of machining and fabrication of fixtures, tooling, and custom components.

- 2 years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Able to work in a team environment
- Self-starter, needing little supervision

- Injection molding experience
- Problem solving abilities
- Comfortable using various basic windows based software, such as excel and word.
