Embark on a journey with us! As a Fluorescent Penetrant Evaluation Officer, at Howmet Aerospace, your career advancement begins with our extensive training during the day shift, before transitioning to evening hours (3:00pm – 11:30pm).
The Role:
- Oversee all part inspections, covering each phase from receiving to in-processing and final evaluations.
- Dedicate focus to rigorous visual inspections at a high frequency for extended periods.
- Ensure efficiency in the processing steps such as ultrasonic cleaning and pre-etching.
- Manage and inspect material handling for quality maintenance.
- Perform critical equipment calibration checks regularly.
- Maintain adherence to detailed operational guidelines and quality documentation.
Qualities We Seek:
- A High School diploma or GED certification.
- Over a year of hands-on manufacturing inspection experience.
- NDT or FPI skills are welcome but not essential.
