BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of 2 years continuous work history, post high school, or six months manufacturing experience.
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
* This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 3 years' experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Experience and understanding of CNC operations as well as other similar rapid prototyping/manufacturing methods.
* Injection molding experience
* Problem solving abilities
* Comfortable using various basic windows based softwares, such as excel and word.
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Able to work in a team environment
* Self-starter, needing little supervision
* Strong math/mechanical aptitude
* Strong work ethic
Flexibility and open-mindedness a must in order to work in a non-standard/specialty work environment

This DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN position will be located in our Research and Development Facility. Primary responsibilities will include:
* Multi-faceted role to assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns
* Operate injection molding machines, and process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements
* Occasionally tasked with tooling and product inspections, both manual as well as with structured light scanning
* Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, both subtractive and additive in nature.
* Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures
* Work closely with design engineers and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects.
* Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment.
* Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required.
* Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
