Description:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- After set up by others, takes specific instructions and operates various standard and specialized machines
- Perform such typical operations as loading parts or material into bins, hoppers and feeds; removing finished parts; operating switches, pedals and levers.
- Observes operation for malfunction or improper processing of parts and corrects/reports.
- Responsible for submitting “First Article”
- Uses standard gauges to check parts according to specification.
- Perform related tasks in departments to which assigned such as; assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping and recording of parts processed.
- Parts to be lifted and/or transported may weigh up to 30 lbs.
- Must read blueprints and have knowledge to use micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauges, depth micrometers and dial indicators as needed and read blueprints.
- Train other operators as required
- Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis.
- Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required. Input overall summary and bullets

Qualifications
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time throughout the duration of an 8- or 12-hour shift
- Will work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and filter aid that may require respiratory protection. Facial hair must be removed if required to wear respirator
- Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends
- Must be able to work overtime as required (only for non-exempt positions)
