Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Casting Technician to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this position will be Weekend Day shift (Saturday - Monday 6a - 6p). Training will be on Day shift (Monday - Friday 6:00A - 2:00P) for several months
Anticipated Pay Range: $24 - $25.50 per hour. *Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
- Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Report all job-related illness and injuries. (Per employee handbook).
- Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EH&S training.
- Melts and pours alloy into refractory molds in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operates complex vacuum and air melt equipment.
- Generates written reports and maintains department records.
- Inspects refractory molds prior to casting.
- Trains colleagues.
- Notifies supervision or Engineering of problems with molds, equipment, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate English.
- Must be able to work with computers.
