An internship with HFS allows students to be a part of dynamic and innovative projects, while providing ample mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside leadership, HFS interns have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience. An internship with HFS will provide you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Howmet's goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry-level openings
Internship opportunities will be at one of our facilities located across Southern California: Carson, Torrance, Fullerton and City of Industry.
We are looking for interns in the following areas:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Quality
- Environmental Health and Safety
- Research and Development
- Continuous Improvement
- Procurement
- Finance
- Commercial
- Human Resources
Qualifications
- 3.0 GPA and above
- Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
- Prior work experience.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
