Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Good communication skills & know basic shop math
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required
- Able to lift / move up to 30 pounds regularly
- Able to follow and carryout instructions
- Ability to perform LOTO
- Ability to operate Mobile Equipment
- Knowledge of basic shop tools
- Able to do gauging and measuring
- Knowledge of basic machine mechanics
- Basic computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Work Order Database)
- Able to assist with basic tasks assigned by lead, supervisor or more senior maintenance tech with basic electrical and / or mechanical work orders
- Must be Mobile Equipment Operator Certified
- Able to use Express Maintenance Proficiently
- Basic knowledge and demonstration of basic pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and electronics
- Able to demonstrate at basic level jobs requiring industrial wiring, motor controls, and HVAC
- Able to demonstrate basic knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting shop floor machinery
- Able to do moderate PLC troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting maintenance work orders related to mechanical repairs
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HVAC repairs and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of electrical repairs & troubleshooting
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for all shop floor machinery
- Advanced level fabrication / sheet metal work
