Job Summary
We are currently looking for a candidate to fill the role of Process Specialist. This position will support manufacturing through process control, improvement initiatives, and assume direct responsibility for the integrity of assigned products. This position will also establish and maintain external and internal customer-associated documents, prepare part-specific work instructions, maintain knowledge of job costs, and develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain production standards and identify and resolve any variances.
- Define process and quality acceptance requirements.
- Design, develop, train and communicate new manufacturing processes to shop floor personnel, including participating in technical training of operators.
- Provides appropriate training and leadership (i.e. methods, systems, and problem solving) to the team to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Participates in the purchase order review process.
- Work with sales to assist with the RFQ review, turn-time quotations, and cost estimates.
- Facilitate the design and purchasing of all necessary tooling and fixtures as required by the production process.
- Adhere to applicable quality standards, company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and safety initiatives.
- Perform other job duties as needed or directed by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of work experience in an aerospace environment.
- Experience and knowledge specifically to high-temperature diffusion coatings (aluminide, chromide, and platinum aluminide coatings) for gas turbine engine components.
