About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Senior Process Engineer at Howmet, a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the development and implementation of robust new part introduction processes that consistently meet or exceed customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all functions of a Process Engineer and lead the development of new NPI program processes.
- Conduct meetings with customers to review design concepts for manufacturing feasibility.
- Provide leadership and single-point accountability on critical process concerns within NPI assignments.
- Participate in NPI and yield improvement meetings.
You will also supervise, train, mentor, and aid Process Engineers in the department, as well as serve as a resource for other departments and generic improvement activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a process engineer in the investment casting industry.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and scientific methods for problem-solving.
- Ability to manipulate and interrogate CAD models.
