Accounting Integration Lead Location: Remote-friendly with occasional travel

We’re looking for an Accounting Integration Lead—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building clarity out of complexity, and has a deep understanding of technical accounting under US GAAP, particularly around business combinations, revenue recognition, and inventory.
- In this project-based role, you'll be the connective tissue between the diligence and integration teams. From day one, you’ll work closely with leadership at newly acquired companies to uncover accounting nuances, lead the charge on financial data conversion and policy alignment, and ensure seamless onboarding into our finance systems and controls.
- You’ll be hands-on in preparing the closing statement, collaborating with valuation experts on purchase price allocation, and driving the construction of the opening balance sheet—ensuring every piece is GAAP-compliant and audit-ready within the 90-day window.
- You won’t just manage spreadsheets—you’ll manage momentum. Your project management instincts will be key in anticipating roadblocks, rallying cross-functional teams, and keeping timelines tight. Alongside this, you’ll help shape how acquisitions are integrated, advocating for scalable processes and smarter ways of working.
- The ideal candidate brings a blend of accounting acumen and business intuition, with at least 8 years of experience (including time in public accounting) and a strong working knowledge of US GAAP as it applies to M&A.
- You’ve done this before—managed opening balance sheets, dealt with auditors, worked with valuation firms, and integrated companies onto a shared tech stack.
- Above all, you’re someone who’s energized by growth, highly accountable, and ready to play a central role in scaling a business during a period of transformation.
