A leading, midsize company is looking for a Controller to join their company on a direct hire basis. The Controller will oversee the corporate accounting operation and manage five lower-level staff.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax requirements, as well as company policies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Ensure that the accounting team maintains accurate records, reconciles accounts, and handles financial reporting efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience minimum as an accountant with at least two years at the management or assistant controller level.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
