Corporate Controller Role!

I'm working with one of my favorite clients, a PE backed CPG company, to hire a Corporate Controller to lead their Accounting team. This is a leadership role.

The company has big name clients like Walmart, Costco, Target, etc. and you would probably recognize the product on the shelf. It all started as a family owned business and has expanded from there to be a $300m global business.

The c-suite at the company and the PE firm are incredibly down to earth, smart, and driven - they are a top team to be a part of.

The role:

• Oversee all Accounting for the company (this includes all the closes but even more importantly, includes driving strategy & growth - this role will actually have a seat at the table)
• Manage & build out team (team is approx. 6 people and growing)
• Drive process automation! You'll have the resources to do it :)
• Work with cross functional leaders (business leaders like manufacturing, supply chain, sales and c-suite)
• Work directly with PE firm leaders
• Need deep knowledge of manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory, pricing strategy, etc.

You are:

• 10 years of experience in progressive Accounting leadership roles
• Must already be a Controller or have been a Controller previously
• Must have experience at companies with tangible goods (Manufacturing, CPG, Food & Beverage)
• Must have managed a team (at least 2 direct reports, ideally more)
• Ideally started career in public accounting and then transitioned in-house
• Ideally worked at PE Portfolio company but not a deal breaker
• CPA highly preferred
• Ideally similar sized company experience – is $300m in annual revenue
• Ideally NetSuite
• Need someone who is very into automation, good at change management, loves technology and innovation
• Ideally experience with transactions/M&A but not a deal breaker

Compensation:

$210k - $245k base salary 20% cash bonus and negotiable for the perfect candidate
