Dynamic senior accountant opportunity in E-commerce!!

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in scaling our accounting function and ensuring accurate financial reporting as we continue to grow.

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and work closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a mix of public and private accounting experience, a strong technical accounting foundation, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Support audits, including gathering documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification (preferred).
• 3-6 years of experience, with a mix of public accounting (Big 4) and private industry experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or a fast-growing startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite experience is a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
