Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead strategic finance initiatives, including M&A, FP&A, valuations, and due diligence. This is a high-impact role that will work closely with senior leadership and private equity partners to drive financial decision-making and support the company’s aggressive growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with prior Big 4 experience being a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and deal structuring for acquisitions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop integration plans to ensure seamless financial transitions post-acquisition.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers to provide insights to executive leadership.
- Develop KPI dashboards and reports to track financial performance and operational efficiency.
Valuations & Due Diligence
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business valuations and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with private equity sponsors and external advisors on due diligence efforts.
- Provide recommendations on capital allocation, financing structures, and growth strategies.
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team on financial and business matters.
- Support investor relations, board reporting, and financial presentations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of finance experience, ideally in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance within a high-growth environment.
- Strong background in M&A, FP&A, valuations, and due diligence.
- Prior Big 4 experience is a huge plus, particularly in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or audit.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, deal structuring, and financial analysis.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed organization is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Salary : $180,000 - $210,000
