Dynamic Strategic Director of Finance opening in healthcare!

Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare firm focused on expansion through strategic acquisitions. The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services while leveraging data-driven financial strategies to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead strategic finance initiatives, including M&A, FP&A, valuations, and due diligence. This is a high-impact role that will work closely with senior leadership and private equity partners to drive financial decision-making and support the company’s aggressive growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with prior Big 4 experience being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

• Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and deal structuring for acquisitions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Develop integration plans to ensure seamless financial transitions post-acquisition.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers to provide insights to executive leadership.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reports to track financial performance and operational efficiency.

Valuations & Due Diligence

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business valuations and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with private equity sponsors and external advisors on due diligence efforts.
• Provide recommendations on capital allocation, financing structures, and growth strategies.

Strategic Finance & Leadership

• Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team on financial and business matters.
• Support investor relations, board reporting, and financial presentations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of finance experience, ideally in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance within a high-growth environment.
• Strong background in M&A, FP&A, valuations, and due diligence.
• Prior Big 4 experience is a huge plus, particularly in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or audit.
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, deal structuring, and financial analysis.
• Experience working in a private equity-backed organization is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.

Salary : $180,000 - $210,000
