Financial Analyst

One of our fastest growing and best clients is a leading industrial services company based in the Greater Detroit region, and is actively seeking a Finance Operations Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with 2-8 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and other corporate FPA tasks to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and management of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and business strategies
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and insights as needed to support business initiatives

What Were Looking For:

• 2-8 years of experience in finance operations, FPA, or similar roles, ideally within a company with $50M or greater in revenue
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial planning
• A solid understanding of corporate finance and financial analysis
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus but not required)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
