A midsized company based near Fairfield, CT is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational objectives. This role is ideal for an individual with over 10 years of HR experience, including leadership responsibilities as this role will manage two staff. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing HR guidance, managing complex employee relations issues, and helping to cultivate a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand and address HR needs and objectives, ensuring HR strategies align with the company’s vision and goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and development to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, offering coaching, conflict resolution, and mediation when necessary to foster a positive work environment.
  • Support talent acquisition by developing recruitment strategies, participating in interviews, and ensuring top talent is identified and retained.
  • Provide leadership development programs and succession planning initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights that inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, managing any risk related to HR issues.
  • Collaborate with managers to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, implementing programs to improve organizational culture.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits strategy, including salary reviews, bonus plans, and benefits offerings, to remain competitive in the market.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of human resource experience with at least two years in a business partnership role.
  • Proven experience supervising and developing HR staff, with strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in change management and leading organizational transformation efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

Salary : $250,000 - $290,000
