A Senior Technical Accounting Manager needed for the U.S. headquarters of a global corporation. As the Senior Technical Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's technical accounting functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and providing expert guidance on complex accounting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, financial reporting, and more.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex technical accounting matters, including but not limited to revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, goodwill impairment, stock-based compensation, and other technical accounting issues.
- Develop, update, and implement technical accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable financial reporting standards. Lead the adoption of new accounting standards and assist in the implementation of accounting changes across the organization.
- Work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including the preparation of technical memos and accounting position papers for management and auditors.
- Lead the accounting and financial reporting for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions. Oversee due diligence efforts, accounting integration, and post-transaction adjustments.
- Partner with other departments, such as tax, legal, internal audit, and external auditors, to provide
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and assist in addressing any technical accounting-related issues raised by the audit team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
- 7 years of progressive experience in technical accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or management role.
- Experience in large, complex corporate structures, with a focus on technical accounting in multinational or publicly traded organizations.
- Proven experience in leading complex transactions, including M&A, consolidations, and integrations.
- Experience working with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional technical accounting knowledge and ability to interpret complex accounting standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex accounting issues to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $175,000 - $220,000
