Staff Accountant

A rapidly growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing G/L functions, assisting with month-end close procedures, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Support the monthly and annual closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely reporting.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with various accounting related ad hoc project as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but work equivalency will suffice.
• At least two years of experience as an accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and basic Excel.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
