SMALL ENGINE REPAIR MECHANIC

Hoy’s Ace Hardware specializes in equipment rental, small engine maintenance and repair. We are looking for people who are friendly, enthusiastic, responsible, reliable, and able to provide excellent customer service. Successful candidates must have 2- and 4-cycle certification, experience in chain saw chain sharpening, and basic computer knowledge. If that describes you, then we would love to talk to you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Small Engine Mechanic, focused on Stihl brand
- Diagnosis, Repair, Assembly, Merchandising and Stocking
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain a great attitude throughout the day with customers, peers and supervisors
- Inventory control
- Year-round work
- Training and tools will be provided.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED, or related experience
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office and/or POS
- If you are a Stihl Certified Mechanic, you have preference in our hiring pool.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift and handle a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand approximately 90% of the workday
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and climb to perform work related tasks throughout the day
