What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Technician position at Hoya Vision Care?
We are currently hiring a Finishing Machine Operator – Atlanta (Lithia Springs)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: 591 Thornton Road #F, Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Hourly Rate: $18/hour

What you’ll do:
- Spot lenses to check power and prism.
- Inspects and pad block on lens using blocking equipment
- Operates edging equipment to edge lenses to proper specifications.
- Use buffer to polish edges of lenses before mounting.
- Clean and insert ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frames.
- Using a lensometer, check lens attributes against established standards.
- Verify lens treatments and proper frame alignment against the prescription.
- Additional duties as assigned by Production Manager.
Qualifications:
- The ability to communicate openly with others and work as a team.
- Must be able to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed.
- Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to understand and implement work instructions.
- Must be able to understand basic job work tickets.
- The ability to do simple/basic math
- Work without supervision
