Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team for a full-time 6-month maternity leave coverage. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a more flexible, part-time schedule after the initial period. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality primary care to individuals across the lifespan and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Athena EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts.
- Board certification as an FNP (AANP or ANCC).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in family practice or primary care preferred.
- Proficiency with Athena EMR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
