Description
Our Aviation Services Group is looking for a new teammate who has considerable early career experience in a field inspection and / or construction management position and would like to transition to being an Airport Engineer and Designer. If your experience is heavily weighted in the construction industry and you seek new additional opportunities for civil engineering design in our Aviation Group, we have a great opportunity to help you meet that goal. The job would entail starting out as a part time construction inspector on airport projects, with full time design opportunities during the winter season. The transitional time period is flexible and will allow you to capitalize on your current expertise and strength while building new experience designing airport projects.

Primary duties include :
- Conduct on-site construction observation of ASD-designed airport projects
- Complete FAA required Construction Administration paperwork
- Attend job meetings
- Coordinate with airport staff, local municipal staff, sub-consultants, and with materials testing firms
- Travel to and from job site, hotel, and home
