Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care and landscaping, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery effectively. This role involves applying pesticides, fertilizers, and other treatments to enhance the health and appearance of lawns and landscapes. The Applicator will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other treatments to lawns and landscapes according to established guidelines.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fertilizer machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct assessments of lawns and landscapes to identify pest issues or areas needing improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, including dates, products used, and client feedback.
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their lawn care needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with fertilizer and plant healthcare methods and products is a plus.
- Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles.
- NYS 3A applicators license required.
- Sales experience is beneficial for promoting services to potential clients.
