This role is responsible for the technical strategy of emerging AI capabilities and innovation in HP Personal Systems AI PC Experiences. You will inform strategic choices on leading-edge AI technologies, develop a point of view on key concepts and future roadmap, and drive proof-of-concept technical architectures and new concept development projects. This role will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to AI PC Experiences team members and consultative guidance to cross-functional teams such as commercial notebook product planning, AI ISV partner development, and HP AI experiences software development teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical strategy and roadmaps for key AI PC experience programs
- Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value
- Engages with technology and ecosystem partners on long-term roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Creates technical execution plans for build, buy, or partner opportunities for AI PC Experiences
- Leverages technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business decisions related to HP AI sustained differentiation
- Provides technical consultation, review, and feedback for AI innovation programs across multiple organizations and architectures
- Builds or guides the technical development and execution of proof-of-concepts and technical architectures
- Provides thought leadership and develops a point of view on emerging AI industry trends and how the industry is shifting and anticipates the impact to HP products.
- Collaborates across business units to align strategy and direction with product innovation and partnership development in the AI PC category
- Demonstrates business acumen and leverages successful experience in managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources
- Contributes innovative ideas and leads research and analytics, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
- Develops actionable recommendations and insights to support strategic planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $159,650.00 - $255,450.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and / or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
