Job Overview
HP Safety is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Outside Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a self motivated position talking to company men, handing out business cards, attending safety meetings, and promoting new sales opportunities . The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the retention of existing customer base with continued sales growth. Position will have assigned territory, implement sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base. This role involves continually engaging with customers and assisting them with their safety needs. A strong emphasis on communication and phone etiquette is essential for providing exceptional service and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate product knowledge by conducting demos with equipment and answering customer inquiries about various items.
- Must work effectively with external and internal customers
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must work effectively on an independent basis under a sales commission structure
- Utilization of a laptop computer will be required
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any customer concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in oil and gas sales or a sales environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer calls and inquiries effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive experience.
