What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Design - Summer Intern position at HPA Design Group?
HPA Design Group is currently seeking a Summer Intern to work with our Interior Design Team in our Orlando, FL office.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases of projects
- Produce working drawings under supervision of project lead
- Assemble presentation boards, both physical and digital
- Order samples
- Manage product library
- Pull FF&E for budgets and presentations
- Work with design and furniture vendors to request quotes, lead times and availability.
- Adhere to time constraints and established deadlines
Qualifications and Skills
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is a must
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to follow-up in a timely manner
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive attitude with a drive to succeed
