FORKLIFT OPERATOR

JOB TITLE: FORKLIFT OPERATOR

LOCATION: JACKSON, TENNESSEE

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are looking for a team member who is a hard-working, detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude to fill this position. As a ForkLift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise ensuring that all products are moved safely and efficiently to their designated location in a manner consistent with HPL’s service and cost objectives. A ForkLift Operator is passionate about customer satisfaction, and as related to the following areas, will be asked to:

• Operate a forklift to move and stack materials
• Load and unload trucks and trailers
• Stage products for shipment or storage
• Pick orders and preparing them for shipment
• Ensure that products are stored safely and securely
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other warehouse duties, such as inventory management, labeling and tagging products, and packaging products for shipment

Working as a ForkLift Operator may require working evening or overnight shifts, and may involve exposure to loud noises and other hazards associated with working in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification
• Prior experience operating a Highrise/ forklift in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures

Compensation:

$21/hour
