What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at HPP Food Services?
Customer Representatives are the point of contact for client’s products and services and act as a liaison between the company and the clients. This role’s primary responsibility is to work directly with clients to process orders, answer questions about their account, billing, handle cancelations and other inquiries and assist in resolving customer complaints with managers.
General Duties and Responsibilities

1. Keep fluent communication with their assigned customers.
2. Review and make sure any document/information is accurate before sending to customers.
3. Keep track of customers’ inventory from start to finish such as the finished products, raw materials and packaging materials.
4. Communicate the weekly production schedule for each customer to the Production Manager in a timely manner.
5. Review and verify inbound and outbound paperwork.
6. Receive customers’ orders and send related paperwork to Inventory and Fulfillment departments in a timely manner.
7. Send customers’ billing information to the accounting department on a weekly basis.
8. Keep all customers’ information updated and accurate at all times.
9. Identify and report any issues pertaining to the customer’s product or services to the manager each day.
10. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
11. Comply with all company policies, safety programs, and GMP’s of the company to ensure food safety.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned by Managers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25 - $22.25 per hour
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
- shipping and receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
