Job Description
We are looking for a delivery driver with Shipping and receiving experience for a temporary opportunity (approximately a 6 week assignment). Deliveries within 40 mile radius.
What we are looking for and Qualifications
- Drives a company truck or van to locations throughout the Pleasanton area (approx. 40 mile radius) to transport materials and / or equipment to, from, and between customer facilities.
- One to two years shipping and receiving experience.
- Load and unload vehicle with, or without assistance.
- Enter received items into our inventory control software
- Inspect received items for damage and accessories
- Identify materials and / or equipment to be transported using shippers and packing lists.
- Carefully pack equipment for UPS, FEDEX shipments using the proper materials
- Using online shipping software, prepare shipping documents
- Identify vehicle maintenance needs.
QUALIFICATIONS As a Driver you must possess:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Valid state driver’s license and good/clean driving record
- .CDL preferred but not required
- Previous work experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery driving
- Previous experience in dealing with customersJob Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
