What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESTIMATOR - Commercial Plumbing position at HPS Mechanical, Inc.?
HPS Mechanical is seeking an Estimator in the construction industry.
Daily Tasks:
- Plan take-offs
- Obtain material quotes
- Make phone calls
- Determine the competition
- Assist with bids, running bids, pre-bid job walks, and finding contractors for various trades
To be considered, applicants will preferably be able to do the following:
- Read Blueprints
- Material Take Off
- Use Quickpen Software
- Critical Thinking
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Computer Skills
- Communicate effectively
- Use arithmetic to solve problems
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Some college course work in engineering, construction management, industrial drawing, or industrial design would be beneficial.
