Overview
HPS Mechanical is seeking an experienced Underground Water Line Installer in the Bakersfield area for prevailing wage site utilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and layouts
- Experience with Water, Sewer and Storm Drain.
- Communicate clearly
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Lift heavy objects and stand or walk for long periods of time
- Work independently while completing daily tasks in a timely manner
- Follow and understand oral and written instructions
- Problem solving skills
- Comply with company and job specific safety rules and regulations
